Your Australian Consumer Law rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: to cancel your service contract with us; and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
This policy does not limit those rights in any way.
At a glance
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| You cancel during the free trial | Nothing is charged. Access continues until the trial ends. |
| You cancel within 48 hours of any charge (first payment, first charge after the free trial or introductory week, or a renewal) | Full refund of that charge; the subscription ends immediately. Self-service, once every 12 months — further requests go to our support team. |
| You cancel more than 48 hours after the latest charge | No further charges, no cancellation fee. Access until the end of the period you paid for. |
| You change your mind more than 48 hours after a charge | We don't give refunds for change of mind after that, or for unused time after you cancel. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. |
| Major failure with the service | You can cancel and get a refund for the unused portion, or compensation for its reduced value. |
| Failure that is not major | We fix it within a reasonable time; if we don't, you can cancel and get a refund for the unused portion. |
| We remove a main feature during a prepaid period, or end your subscription without fault on your side | Refund of the unused part of the period you paid for. |
| You were charged twice or by mistake | Full refund of the wrong charge. |
| You subscribed in the NoBill iPhone app (App Store) | Apple bills it, so cancellation and refunds go through Apple (see below). Our 48-hour self-service refund doesn't apply to App Store purchases. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected. |
How to cancel
- In the app: “Account” → “Cancel subscription”.
- Without logging in: the Cancel subscription page — linked at the bottom of every page and in every reminder e-mail.
- By e-mail: hello@nobill.website.
Cancellation is online, takes a couple of clicks and costs nothing. We confirm it by e-mail with the date your access ends.
How to ask for a refund
Within 48 hours of a charge: choose “Cancel and get … back” in your account (“Account” → “Cancel subscription”) or use the refund option on the Cancel subscription page (no login needed) — the refund is made automatically (once every 12 months). For anything else — including a refund under the Australian Consumer Law — use “Account” → “Request a refund”, or write to hello@nobill.website or +33 7 51 27 79 67 from the address of your NoBill account and tell us what went wrong. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to the payment method you used, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the ACCC or your State or Territory fair trading office.
Bought in the NoBill iPhone app (App Store)
Apple processes the payment, so Apple handles cancelling and refunds for App Store purchases — we can't cancel them or refund them ourselves.
- Cancel: on your iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in the app under “Account” → “Manage subscription” — at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Cancelling on our website or deleting your NoBill account does not stop Apple's billing.
- Refund: ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or in the app under “Account” → “Request a refund” (opens Apple's refund form). Apple decides on the refund under its own policy.
This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: if NoBill fails to meet a consumer guarantee, write to hello@nobill.website or +33 7 51 27 79 67 and we will help, including with Apple. Details: section 10B of our Terms of Service.
