1. About these terms and who we are

NoBill (the website and web app at nobill.website, and the NoBill iPhone app) is provided by Traffic Corsar SAS (société par actions simplifiée), a company registered in France (RCS Nice SIREN 999 455 512) ("we", "us"), selling online in trade. Contact details are at the end of these terms and in our legal notice.

These terms apply when you, as a consumer living in New Zealand, use NoBill or take out a NoBill subscription. You must be 18 or over to subscribe. We send you these terms with your order confirmation e-mail; this page always shows the current version.

2. Your rights under New Zealand consumer law

Our services come with guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 that can't be excluded: that we provide them with reasonable care and skill, that they are fit for the purpose we promote them for, and that we provide them within a reasonable time. If NoBill fails to meet a guarantee, we will fix the problem within a reasonable time. If we don't, or if the failure is substantial, you can cancel and get a refund for the part of the service you haven't received, and you may also be entitled to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other right that cannot be excluded by contract.

If you buy NoBill for the purposes of a business, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, to the extent section 43 of that Act allows. NoBill is designed for personal use.

3. What NoBill does — and doesn't

NoBill helps you keep track of your subscriptions yourself. Every plan includes the same features:

  • AI reading of screenshots you upload (banking app, App Store, Google Play, PayPal, e-mail receipts) to find recurring payments — up to 30 screenshot scans a day and 300 a month.
  • A list of your subscriptions with monthly and yearly totals, which you can edit, synchronised between your devices.
  • Reminders by e-mail and, if you allow it, push notification before upcoming charges and before free trials end — for entries with a known next charge date.
  • Step-by-step cancellation guides via a help chat — up to 30 messages a day and 300 a month. The help chat is an AI assistant, not a human.

NoBill does not connect to your bank, does not cancel other subscriptions for you, does not negotiate prices and does not claim refunds for you. You cancel third-party subscriptions yourself.

3A. Free use of the NoBill iPhone app

The NoBill iPhone app can also be used without a subscription: you can keep up to 5 subscriptions in your list, get push reminders for them and use 1 AI screenshot scan and 10 messages to the AI assistant (the help chat and "describe it in words" together) in total. More entries, more scans and more assistant messages need a NoBill subscription, bought on our website or in the app (section 11A). The website itself has no free plan. Free use comes with the same rules (sections 12 to 16) and your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act apply to it too.

4. Plans and prices

All prices are total prices in New Zealand dollars (NZ$). There are no other fees or surcharges.

PlanYou payWhat happens next
MonthlyNZ$7.99 every monthStarts with a free 7-day trial (card required, nothing charged today). Then NZ$7.99 every month until you cancel.
3 monthsNZ$19.99 today, for 3 monthsThen it continues as the monthly plan at NZ$7.99 every month until you cancel.
12 monthsNZ$44.99 today, for 12 monthsThen it continues as the monthly plan at NZ$7.99 every month until you cancel.
Introductory week (offered occasionally)NZ$0.99 today, for 7 daysThen it continues as the monthly plan at NZ$7.99 every month until you cancel. This is a paid offer, not a free trial.

Before you pay, checkout shows the plan, what you pay today, the date and amount of the next charge, that the subscription continues automatically until you cancel, and how to cancel.

5. How the contract is made

You choose a plan, enter your e-mail address and payment details in the payment form of our payment provider, Stripe, and confirm your order with the button that states that you will pay. You can correct your entries at any time before that. The contract is made when we confirm your order on screen; we then e-mail you a confirmation with the key details, these terms and how to cancel.

6. Free trial (monthly plan)

The monthly plan starts with 7 free days. Your card is saved but not charged, and the monthly price is the same with or without the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing. Otherwise NZ$7.99 is charged when the trial ends (the date is shown at checkout and in your confirmation e-mail) and then every month until you cancel. We e-mail you a reminder 2 days before the first charge.

The free trial and the introductory week are for new customers, once per customer. We check your NoBill account and the payment card (or Stripe Link account) you use: if you had a NoBill subscription, free trial or introductory week before, or the card was already used for one on another account, the monthly plan starts without a trial — checkout shows this before you pay. If we only find out after checkout, we cancel the trial before anything is charged (and refund an introductory-week fee in full), tell you straight away, and you can choose a paid plan. How the card check works and how to contest it: sections 3 and 11 of the privacy policy.

7. Introductory week

Sometimes we offer an introductory week: 7 days for NZ$0.99, charged straight away. Unless you cancel during those 7 days, it continues as the monthly plan at NZ$7.99 every month until you cancel. We e-mail you a reminder before the first monthly charge.

8. Renewal and switch to monthly billing

The monthly plan renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel after a renewal too, without any cancellation fee.

The 3- and 12-month plans do not renew for another 3 or 12 months. When the term ends, they continue as the monthly plan at NZ$7.99 every month until you cancel. We e-mail you 30 days and again 7 days before the switch, with the date, the new amount and a link to cancel.

9. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe with the payment methods shown in the payment form (e.g. card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We never see your full card number and we don't charge card surcharges. Each charge is taken at the start of the period it pays for, and we e-mail a receipt for every charge.

If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days; you keep access meanwhile. If it still fails, the subscription ends and access to the paid features stops.

10. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time, online, without giving a reason and without any fee:

  • in your NoBill account under “Account” → “Cancel subscription”;
  • without logging in, on the Cancel subscription page (linked at the bottom of every page and in every reminder e-mail);
  • or by e-mail to hello@nobill.website.

Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for (during a free trial or introductory week: until it ends — nothing more is charged). We confirm the cancellation by e-mail.

Changing your mind is not covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act, so after 48 hours we don't refund a charge, or unused time after you cancel, just because you no longer want NoBill — except under our refund promise (section 11) or as set out in our Refund & cancellation policy. This never affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act if something is wrong with NoBill (section 2).

11. Full refund within 48 hours of a charge — an extra

On top of your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act — not instead of them: if you cancel within 48 hours of any charge — your first payment for a 3- or 12-month plan or the introductory week, the first charge after a free trial or introductory week, or any monthly or renewal charge — we refund that charge in full, no questions asked, and your subscription ends immediately. Use “Cancel and get … back” in your account (“Account” → “Cancel subscription”), the refund option on the Cancel subscription page, or e-mail hello@nobill.website. The 48 hours run from the time of the charge as recorded by our payment provider; a request sent on the Cancel subscription page counts from the moment you submit it.

This self-service refund is available once every 12 months per customer (account and payment card); further requests are handled by our support team at hello@nobill.website or +33 7 51 27 79 67 (we reply within 2 business days). The 48-hour window and the once-a-year limit apply only to this promise; they are not a time limit or condition on refunds you are entitled to under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

11A. Subscriptions bought in the NoBill iPhone app (App Store)

In the NoBill iPhone app you can also subscribe through Apple's App Store (in-app purchase). For that purchase Apple is the seller of record: Apple charges your Apple Account, the price, the length of any free trial and the renewal terms are the ones Apple shows on its purchase sheet before you confirm, and Apple's Media Services Terms apply as well as these terms. The subscription renews automatically through Apple until you cancel.

Cancel at any time in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in the app under “Account” → “Manage subscription”, at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. We can't cancel or change an App Store subscription for you: cancelling on our website, on the Cancel subscription page or by e-mail, or deleting your NoBill account, does not stop Apple's billing.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us: ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or from the app (“Account” → “Request a refund”, which opens Apple's refund form). Our 48-hour self-service refund (section 11) applies only to subscriptions bought on our website and paid through Stripe. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act (section 2): if NoBill fails to meet a consumer guarantee, contact us at hello@nobill.website or +33 7 51 27 79 67 and we will help, including with Apple.

If you already have a subscription bought on our website, you don't need to buy in the app: sign in to the app with the same e-mail address and your subscription works there too. If you already pay through the App Store, our website won't let you buy a second subscription.

12. AI results and availability

Screenshot reading is done automatically by AI and can make mistakes — misread amounts or dates, missed or wrongly detected subscriptions. Always check amounts and dates against your bank statement. Results are labelled as AI results and uncertain entries are marked “Check”. Reminders depend on the dates in your list and on e-mail and push delivery.

The help chat is an AI assistant. Its answers and cancellation guides are general information, not legal or financial advice, and can be wrong or out of date; each provider's own terms apply.

We aim to keep NoBill available at all times but there may be interruptions, for example for maintenance or outages at our providers.

13. Using NoBill fairly

You must be 18 or older to create a NoBill account, use NoBill (the website or the iPhone app) and buy a subscription.

Only upload screenshots you are entitled to use, and crop out what isn't needed — especially other people's names and details (balances, account numbers, payees, family members). Don't enter card numbers, account numbers or passwords in the help chat. Don't misuse NoBill, try to break its security or use it unlawfully.

14. Changes to prices, features and these terms

We will only change the price of your subscription from the start of a new billing period, never during a period you have already paid for (including a 3- or 12-month term). We will e-mail you at least 30 days before; you can cancel free of charge before the change takes effect.

If we remove a main feature during a period you have prepaid, you can cancel and we will refund the unused part of that period.

We may change these terms only for good reasons (for example a change in the law, a new feature, or to make them clearer). We will e-mail you at least 30 days before a change that is to your disadvantage; you can cancel before it applies and get a refund of any unused prepaid period. We never change terms just by updating this page.

15. If we end your subscription

We may suspend or end your subscription if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms (for example fraud, abuse of the AI features or using NoBill unlawfully). Where possible we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.

If we end your subscription for any other reason, or stop offering NoBill, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any amount you have paid for the period after it ends.

16. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other right that cannot be excluded by contract.

Subject to that, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a reasonably foreseeable result of our breaching these terms or failing to provide the service with reasonable care and skill. NoBill is for personal use and we are not responsible for business losses. Charges made by other companies are a matter between you and them, unless our failure to provide the service with reasonable care and skill caused your loss.

17. Your data

How we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 2020 — including our privacy officer, overseas providers, and how to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner — is explained in our privacy policy (section 14 for New Zealand).

18. E-mails we send you

We send e-mails that are part of the service you signed up for: order confirmations, receipts, reminders before a trial or term converts, cancellation confirmations, sign-in links and the reminders you set up. They contain no advertising. Every e-mail identifies us and tells you how to contact us.

We send marketing e-mails only if you have expressly agreed to them (an unticked box and a confirmation e-mail). Every marketing e-mail has a free unsubscribe link; we act on it at once and in any case within 5 working days, as the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 requires.

19. Complaints and disputes

Please write to hello@nobill.website. We acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 14 days.

If we can't resolve it, you can take a claim to the Disputes Tribunal (disputestribunal.govt.nz) — a low-cost way to settle disputes without lawyers — or to the courts of New Zealand. You can also contact the Commerce Commission (comcom.govt.nz) or Consumer Protection (consumerprotection.govt.nz) for information about your rights.

20. Which law applies and where you can go to court

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and you can bring proceedings in New Zealand — in the Disputes Tribunal or the New Zealand courts. You keep every protection that New Zealand law gives you.

Nothing in these terms requires you to use arbitration or prevents you from taking part in a class action or other representative proceedings.
